Knowing most of our iOS app users are task-oriented and standing in a store we wanted to give them a shorter path to the categories that are most relevant to them at that moment.
With simplified navigation, a cleaner filter set, and native controls we were able to deviate from the established UI patterns of our web product to deliver a user-friendly native experience.
